Have board at home. But thanks for the idea, something I hadn’t thought of.

It’s gone back in this afternoon with a new RL1 and (fingers crossed) seems OK.
Had some behind the scenes communication with Andy2, who kindly pointed me toheater relay
and also something very helpful in my inbox from Jim.

AAAARGH! Customer on phone this afternoon. It did one wash, then back to F08 again. Well, she’s going away for 5 weeks now so it’s going to wait till she gets back. Then I’ll give it one more go, pressure switch maybe, and that’ll be it. Works OK on 30* apparently so has to be heater circuit.

Just get the board from EMW, Mike. You’re wasting your and the customers time otherwise.

She doesn’t want to spend that sort of money and only get a six month guarantee. Also, I’m not at all sure the module is the problem. (She claims local Indesit franchisee put “new” board in about 9 months ago under 5 yr g’tee.) I wonder if perhaps he just changed the eeprom.
Anyway time spent learning doesn’t count against a man’s life.

Mike.
So when did Ideshit start giving 5 yr gtees 😕
Doesn’t really matter how long the boards been in the machine we all know how un-reliable they are.April 25, 2009 at 9:13 pm #283728leavemetogetonwithit

The 5 yr g’tee wasn’t given. She paid extra for it of course. But it’s out now.
I don’t think the board was new as it had a plug in eeprom.
