Hi guys, wondering if there has been any improvement in the level of tech info from manufacturers over the last couple of years?
I have been concentrating more on the commercial catering appliances for the past couple of years but still get calls for domestic jobs, so after the new year I will be willing to take more domestic appliance jobs on but worry about the level of info out there for some of the brands that I have avoided for a long time like Logic etc, is there any particular brand that I should avoid getting involved with.

some of us have access to information which we will share but some brands either have none or wont share at all

l think the manufacturers are the pits when you require any information on their products “NO NO” appliance manufacturers insist they know better leave everything to our prize guys they have forgotton most of what the average independant engineer have learned Yeah these so say manufacturers engineers only know the product they have so say been trained on and any information about their products is secret… Put up or Shut up ..Sorry to be so cynical here but l have been an appliance engineer since 1967 and have seen a lot of Hooray Henry’s in suits and wonder sometimes where are they now !!!!!! Retired probably…

on bigger pension than we have no doubt

all these problems as you realize happened about 20 years ago. still got the hoover books I bought with all tech and parts info. All ended in 1998 when candy swallowed them
