Participantfor the life of me cant see how you unhook the trim from the hinge seems to be moulded round it? any little knacks? much appreciated.

Remove the 4 screws that hold both halves together then a Swiss Army knife blade between the two halves and it should open up like a Ronseal paint tin! 🙂

sorry didnt make myself clear, door is split but the hinge is connected to the inner trim in such a way i cant see for the life of me how you disconnect it from the trim?? hard to explain but have never seen such a daft design im sure someone must have a knack.

Participantturn the hinges in as if the door was closed, lift the hinge upwards and away from the trim, quite easy really

so the hinge has to be loosened off then? as it wont lift when bolted on. wish i had the thing in front of me starting to forget the bloody design now!

turns out hinge has to be unscrewed and pulled out completly then put into the trim one at a time, easy now ive done one!

No, its you that confused all of us, we thought you had already removed the door complete with hinges which is the correct method. 🙂
We didn’t realise you were trying to remove the inner door from the hinges whilst it was still attached to the machine. :rolls: 😀

Participantof course im confused, ive only fitted perhaps 50 or so of these, some while you were still repairing tdl machines
maybe i shouldnt try and help anymore?
