The inlet hose has a “Water stop device” incorporated in it at pipe conection end, its shown in the instructions as being conected to a downwards pointing tap but there is no mention that this orientation is critical. So does it matter if the hose is conected to an uppwards pointing connection? if not will a horizontal conection do as John Lewis’s say or will it require a downwards conection?
