KeymasterHello,
I’m looking for instruction manuals for a Belling cooker :-
Electra Fantasia EFR90MKGA
and a Hotpoint tumble dryer :-
Hotpoint Super Deluxe 17460.
I’ve tried the links suggested in the forum and the manufacturer’s website with no luck – as the products are old the manuals are obsolete. Both these are >12 years old so probably not going to have any luck anywhere else.
If anyone has an old copy or knows any other good place to try I would very much appreciate you letting me know.
Also the electromechanical timer on the Belling cooker has stopped. My local shop told me the part was obsolete and even if it wasn’t obsolete it would probably be prohibitively expensive. Again if anyone can help I would appreciate it.
Thanks,

As regards the Hotpoint 17460, that is not old, its ancient, 24/25 years old. There is not much to tumble dryer operation, so if you have any questions regarding this dryer, someone will be able to give you advice on general usage.
In fact the 17460 does not even appear on the manufacturers parts ID lists.
I will see if I can dig out an old service manual that I may be able to use to answer any questions you have.EDIT. Could you verify that model number, I can find 17560, 17450 & 17660 but even they are over 24 /25 years old. I cannot find anything relating to 17460, but it does seem to trigger a long lost memory 🙂 To be truthful almost all the parts for these machines are obsolete, although you may be able to pick up things such as belts etc.

Thanks for your reply and help. I suppose should be grateful the dryer’s still seems to be going ok…
The manuals were really for completeness as I’m letting out my house and these things are kind of good to have. Should be able to get by without them..
Understand what you say about parts obsolesence – if anything serious goes probably easier/cheaper to buy new by now.
Thanks,
Adrian. -
