I currently have a vented tumble drier with a hose through the wall to the outside, but can’t use it much as it shrinks my clothes. I want to replace it with a pump heat exchange(I think they’re called) condenser drier with lots of delicates settings, and much better economy.
Can I site it under the counter behind a cabinet door in my fitted kitchen???

    Hi,

I think you mean a heat pump dryer and you’d probably be best to read this first before going there:

And no, no condenser or heat pump dryer which is also self condensing can be installed that way currently, far as I am aware there are no integrated condenser dryers sold in the UK presently.

If you try it you’ll likely have the machine overheating and cutting out due to restricted airflow and/or condensation forming on the cabinet door as well as the floor in front of the dryer.
