Hello, I’m fitting a new kitchen and it will be the first time I’ve ever had a dishwasher. I’ve read the advice on your excellent website but as you can’t get to view a lot of these machines in store I haven’t been able to see the tray runners etc in person so can only go by reviews on line. I have got it down to 3 machines now which all appear to have the same spec except there’s 4db difference in the noise level, is this much?I’m hoping someone could advise me what would be the best to go for, or just to confuse me suggest another!

Average normal speaking voice is about 70db, a 4 decibel reduction would only be necessary if the dishwasher is in an open plan environment. Noise is very subjective as this article will show, so don’t get too hung up over it 😉
Bosch, Neff and Siemens are all part of the same group. All are good choices, but the Siemens would be my first choice.
