We have an integrated fridge freezer with one temperature control in the fridge part but i just can’t seem to get the fridge part cold enough.

At its maximum, the fridge is around 6 degrees which is not really cold enough yet the freezer is about -22 which if anything is too cold and its very icy/frosty.

Is there anything i can do to try and get the temperatures more in line with other rather than being at two extremes. The freezer i can deal with if need be but i would prefer that he fridge is a lot colder just for health/hygeine reasons more than anything.

I don’t want to lose any food if possible.

One other thing I have noticed is that the grills/vents on the bottom of the unit (under the freezer door) become pretty much blocked once the door is shut, would I be better off cutting some of the inside of the door to allow a bigger gap for air to get through? I noticed a cutout in the plinth underneath but not entirely sure how much good that is doing?

This appliance was already in place when we moved in so not sure on its installation.
