We are looking to replace our integrated FF (70/30 split), we have a Beko which has lasted 6 years but have been told by the repairer that “the PCB thermostat and sensors are buried in the insulation and these will be at fault, unfortunately we can’t safely replace any of these as the damage to the insulation is too great.“
He recommended a Fridgemaster MBC55275 but it’s not frost free and seems to have no reviews as a revived rebadge, owned by Hisense now? He is not keen to reinstall a Beko, even though the BCFD173 has reasonable reviews.
We’re not in the market for Liebherr – are there any cheaper options which aren’t a quality lottery? I presume frost free is better, although I was surprised to see eg Bosch KIV38X22GB wasn’t frost free.
Can anyone help?
