The front fell off the door and I have found that one of the clips has come adrift and fallen inside the door itself.

I can’t remember what the model number of the dishwasher is but I just need to know if it’s OK to unscrew the inner door (a row of Pozidrives down each side) to retrieve and re-attach the clip.

If you need more info regarding the model, I will post as much as I can to identify it. All I can remember is that it’s a Whirlpool re-branded as a Capel.

Edit – Just found it – DI414 if that helps!

Sorry to be a bit vague – I’m hoping that it’s a common feature and the answer will be ‘yes’!! (and any precautions I should take when removing it)

    Many thanks
    MF

Yep, no problem taking the door apart like that…if you’ve never done it before you might want to enlist a second pair of hands to hold the door against it’s counterbalance springing 😉

Just make sure it’s electrically isolated (plug removed from socket or double-pole switch OFF), and be careful of sharp edges on the door inner piece…..
