ParticipantHi – Been to one of these today, the m/c has a really bad (high frequency) vibration on spin
Everthing looks OK but thought it might be worth replacing the dampers.
This machine is on a chipboard floor (bad) but it has been installed for a while with no problems until lately, the guy said it does it on all loads so pretty much rules out OOB load probs.
Wotcha reckon?
Andy 🙂

This isn’t something we’ve seen a problem with after the initial installation Andy and we’ve seen a few.
I take it that it’s the one with the damper pads (from memory it is, but I don’t have the info here at home) as if that’s the case the only thing I can suggest is to replace the pads and see how it goes. Never replaced springs on one of these in my puff.

Hi Ken
No it uses the shock absorber type dampers PN:499003200 which is why i thought they might be the prob. They could be duff but there is nothing to see as such.
Told the guy I would fit new ones at his request but couldnt guarantee it would solve the problem. But to be honest I don’t like working on this kind of basis.

KeymasterIf that’s those cheap plastic things then we’ve replaced a few of those. 😕
Sorry, that’s what happens when you have a memory like a sieve. 😉

Just for future reference
I fitted two new dampers to this machine and it was running like a little sweety pie when I left.
Thanks guys. 🙂
