If it is a BFI62 and If that is the heating time out error then try changing both of the X2 suppression capacitors on the board as they will cause this error – (I will be putting this in the PCB repair tips later along with some other boards).
thanks jem for your reply. removed pcb cant see any thing burnted. or cap bulging only thing i could see was heat sensing wire plug slighty loose. resoildered it still the same. what are x2 the cap on the pcb should the show damage how do i test them
what sort of reading should i get thanks fasetester.
You will need an LCR or ESR meter to be able to test them and the are unlikely to show any visible signs of failure, See this post to know which they are
