Intergrated Electrolux Washing Machine

Been to an Electrolux Intergrated Washer today Model number EWX14440W, select programme, press start, it pre pumps for about 5 seconds then the door unlocks and the start/pause light starts flashing, does this on every cycle including drain and spin. But the the drying cycles work fine, Module problem? Getting no error code, motor, inlet and drain pump all working on drying cycle. Any ideas before i go ahead and order a module in?

Hi

Check dryer elements for earth fault or just disconnect dryer elements, and see what happens.
Faulty elements can cause this.

Thanks, will check that.
Anyone know the diagnostics test for these? Is it the same as the Zanussi ZWF range?

95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} chance you’re not going to need diagnostics. Just do what Washman says. If you were to read the manual you would find in there somewhere buried among the thousands of words of blah blah diagnostics that elements giving insulation resistance readings of below 40 Mohms will cause these sorts of problems. TBH I’ve done quite a few AEG/Lux/Zan machines over the last few years and whilst the diagnostics are exellent, I’ve rarely gained much benefit from using them. I think they are the same across all models using same board shapes though. Might differ slightly with different fascia designs using different buttons. I’ve printed out manuals to take with me several times and not really made much use of them.
