I have a Candy GV1610 THWC3B80 10kg that has been throwing an E08 error. I am now unable to reproduce the error after running several long washes, but would like to get to the bottom of the problem.

The washer spins fine until it gets to the high speed spin at the end, and stops with the E08 error. The motor is brushless, the resistance of the tacho reads 68 Ohms, and no blockages in the pressure sensor.

I have noticed a high pitched humming noise from the back of the machine when the plug is switched on. The humming noise continues, when the plug is turned off and then eventually dies out. Could this noise be a faulty capacitor on the PCB causing the error code?
