Intermittent Miele G579

I’m hoping someone may have had a similar fault that can assist me here.

Miele G579 dishwasher, on ocassions the timer won’t switch off, it gets to the very last but one position and just stays there with the hydro fan running contantly.

We already replaced the timer on the advice of Miele technical, which was ok over Xmas and the new year, but still the fault occurs intermittently.

Everything works fine during the wash, it’s even hot at the point where it sticks and the dishes etc are dry.

Anyone got any suggestions please.

Not had the same fault Dave, but something similar which was down to the stats in the door. Just wondering if the timer wont advance until a stat has reset. Just an idea.
fitted a timer eh! bet that is costing someone ❗

dave, is there a humidity sensor invoved…keeping the fan on and programmer from finishing????
