Have a word with bobokines on the Invoice template as he has a pretty neat DIY solution on that 😉

I use Microsoft Works for my customer database. I just made up my own ‘cells’ to suit what information I needed to be logged. In fact it duplicates my invoice information plus additional info that enhances it even further to my advantage.

i used to use lotus database and it was good, ive beem messing around with m/softs database and its super complicated, and i cant get it to do what i want, ie same as you double up as an invoice system by switching to form view??..

    Re: invoice template

I have a copy of QuarkExpress on my PC which is an excellent desktop publishing program, but any DTP program will do the same thing.

I have created a document to use as an invoice and used the page number as the invoice number (the page number can go anywhere on the page it doesn’t have to be at the bottom). I print out two copies of each invoice [page] on my laser printer and perforate them with a simple perforating guillotine. Staple them together in pads of ten and hey presto.
It’s like having a licence to print £50 notes.

You could almost do it in Microsoft Word with the page number inserted in the page header.

    thanks for reply.
i found my old lotus d/b and working on something.
i find lotus v/g as it lets you build a form view anyway you want, and as many forms as you want…
this lets you have as many invoice templates as you like, which uses info entered into data base .
