    Hi all…. 😀

Over the past couple of days, I’ve been thinking about how to maximise the chance of a customer coming back to me for repeat business without having to carry out cheap repairs!

One thing I’ve thought of, which perhaps the WTA could take on and offer (at a decent price) to members are ‘Invoice wallets’.

Basically, an A4 or A5 size hard paper folder, glossy on the front headed ‘Whitegoods Trade Association’ Kitchen appliance service history or something like that with a space to put the members details on the front. The idea being, when a repair is carried out, the engineer can present the customer an invoice in this tidy good looking wallet (which could be used to keep all their appliance stuff in) and then one would assume the customer would be sure to keep safe and look for the next time they need a repair. It could also have printed on the back info about UKW’s extended warranties etc….?

Just a thought……. Anyone else see any good in this idea?

    Adrian 😀

Also, I know they’re not that cheap, maybe £1-1.50 each, so if that were taken into account on every repair, in theory, the engineer would not even end up paying for them! 😀

I have some made up for ISE and UKW, not too many mind they were for meetings etc. but I can send a couple down if you like to have a look at?

You are right though, they weren’t that cheap but, that said, they do make you look a tad more professional. 😉

The other thing I had made up were “no-access” cards with the company logo etc. on them. I should have, with hindsight, explained on the reverse of them about charges for those types of calls but anyway, they serve well as a sort of business card as well.

    K.
