Has anyone out there any ideas why the door wont open at end of wash, if it sits for awhile after end of wash it opens ok but sometimes it wont, you have to open it with the cord that hangs down from inside

    Thanks

door interlocks tend to weaken on these, more so if the user is a bit heavy handed and has a tendancy to slam the door.
if you take the interlock out, and check the two sliding plates, make sure they are not twisted, then a squirt of wd40 to make sure they move without binding on each other.
if there is a small pcb in the panel – maybe 2 inches square, this is for the door , and occasionally fails.
