Evening all. We’re looking to buy a decent-sized fridge-freezer, on a budget of approx £350. Saw a Beko CF64S today which ticks all the boxes in terms of size, price (£296) and function. Our existing freezer is a Beko, which we’ve had no problem with. My very generous mother is funding this purchase, and when I told her about the one we’d found she was horrified that it was a Beko, and said she’d rather we brought a more respectable brand….

Just looking for some honest feedback please – both good and bad – on Beko fridge-freezers. Like I mentioned, no trouble with the Beko freezer we already have, but it’s quite old, and perhaps things have gone down-hill since it was made?

    Thank you for reading!

erm…. yeah, other than that ‘minor’ little incident concerning fires!

Coincidentally, my first ever fridge freezer was a lovely number from Iceland. Had a very pleasant letter which mentioned ‘possible risk of explosion’ 4 weeks into ownership!

    Hi

In all honesty if you disregard the model range that had the faulty timer. Beko isn’t that bad for the price range. There are worse for more money.
