is everything OK with the company emwelec.co.uk only I got alarm bells ringing at the moment, I sent off a hotpoint WMUD843 Washing machine control board and fascia board to them a couple of weeks ago and haven’t heard anything back since. Got in touch with Tony last week by email just to see if he received the parts OK yet and didnt get a reply either way. Hope they aint gone out of business or anything like that, if its just a case of on holidays or something thats OK but I am getting anxious now because I want the boards back in the not too distant future.

16/10/12: I think I have found the problem once and for all and as a bonus I have the machine doing its final spin with the Drum going in a clockwise direction (like all my previous washing machines! and the way it should always be!!) all along I think all it was, was a pin on the motor wiring loom (motor end) that was open and not making contact properly only sometimes (one of the taco wires) so after closing that up so it makes proper contact and swapping the blue and black phase wires on the motor side of the loom the machine spins an a clockwise direction and goes through proper cycles, the machine couldnt have been getting a proper signal from the tacho and that why it kept stopping. Well i am hoping thats what it it, its early days yet but it looks promising! 🙂 I think my perseverance has finally paid off maybe! – so really I neednt have sent the board away, could have saved some money by not doing that.
