my seven oldest jobs are all fridge/fridges, 3 samsung, 3 daewoo with 1 LG, all side by sides, all awaiting parts from Connect. Oldest 1 goes back to May 06, as you can imagine customer really pleased she bought Korean shite 😆
At the moment I have 18 Korean fridges awaiting parts, 18 visits I can’t get paid on 😥 yet. Multiply that to Experts volumes and hey presto, skint.
If they are on Connect, I close the job down, charge labour only after knocking the parts off if it has been awaiting for 1 month or more.
If & when the part arrives we phone the customer to see if they are still alive, and if they still need the repair. Then we raise a recall job and allocate the part as received from previous call.
