    coulnt live without my vax have a special slot for it on the van makes life so much easier plus I dont have to kneel in the wet

    Just found this thread. What a brilliant idea with the wet vacuum cleaner. Don’t know why I hadn’t thought of that before. Thanks

    Have had a rowenta for nigh on 20 years for the same,had a couple of motors but sadly casing took a whack and has taken me a couple of hours to peice back together.
    Always use bleach,sling some in before you vac out,kill the smell straightaway and keeps the vac smelling decent.

    I have used an old vax cleaner for years in the back of the van, nothing worse than lying on a wet kitchen floor after dropping the sumphose, but in town it would not be good in an upstairs flat or tower block. to chuffin heavy to cart around.
