Is it worth getting it repaired?

My samsung sr2029 needs a new evaporater cover, water tank and a defrost heater. I’ve already paid out £100 do i get it fixed or dump it? 🙁

Personally i would fix. Has the engineer diagnosed this with a meter?

let us know the outcome, as there seems to be loads of us wanting to know just how much the costs might be and whether it’s worth any of us repairing rather than dumping.

Fridge has been fixed today, it needed new evaporator cover/ defrost heater and water tank. In total it has cost £260.00 but at least its done. Fingers crossed it carries on being ok. I would like to say thanks to you all for being so helpful and informative and for providing telephone numbers of engineers. Cheers everyone. 😆

A good price for that job. All the issues covered in fridge it sounds. Glad you got it sorted 😀 .
