Is the WIXL 127 the worst product in Indesits line?

I have been repairing washing machines a while, and I keep being attracted to the WIXL 127, so I bought one. I should have known better over the years I have been working with machines this model is the most unreliable. The problem I have at the moment is the wash cycle doesn’t finish and choose to spin for ever. Am I right in thinking this is a temperature probe problem?

Have you ‘been repairing washing machines for a while’ as a full time job?

If you have then it beggars belief that you would ever be attracted to anything that Indesit have made in the past ten years or more. ❓

Most faults will give some sort of error code but if the heater is faulty it can wash indefinitely on certain models.

Were you attracted to its smooth Italian styling?
Perhaps the simple Latin inspired controls swung it for you?
Or maybe the round ‘pizza shaped’ door had you salivating with desire?
The ice white colour reminded you of Italian ice cream?
Maybe you were overwhelmed by the charms of the Curry’s sales force?
or the ‘cheap as a round of drinks’ price tag was the decider?

Whatever your reasoning it does indeed beggar belief.

That aside, what resistance reading does the NTC give anyway?
