7 month old oven hob wasn’t working properly engineer came fixed it but 1 and 2 on hobs don’t heat up properly makers say the selective switches that’s why they don’t get warm.

ok model is Cetc502b and its a slot in cooker

not sure what he means by selective switches. normally these units either have 6 position switches or continuously variable units that were called simmerstats. A lot of modern stuff now uses touch controls which is different again

ok your description is a but woolly. Can you describe the fault more fully

do the rings get hot at all?

if you set them to max does it glow red ?
