Well it’s nowhere near the quality of a Miele for a start.

Good luck finding someone willing to take on the repair when the LCD screen goes!, expect to €1979.99 for the circuit board/s and having to wait a month until they turn up!.

if you can afford to shell out nearly 2 grand on a washing machine in the first place I should imagine if it packs up …. you just go out and buy another brand new machine , sod getting it repaired!

A friend of mine in the states has one of these. Amazing machine, he loves using it. Very expensive He has got quite a bit of cash though and could no doubt afford another one if it went totally tits up. He said his clothes have never been washed so well, and economically (apart from the outlay, of course) 😉

It is so contradictory in someone spending so much money on a machine that, in its manufacture, has used up so much energy to produce yet in its short working life uses up even more of earth’s resources. A machine with a price point so high that only those that can afford a gas guzzling ‘Chelsea Tractor’ shell out on one, and dump it the moment it fails them.
These washing machines that are 4 to 10 times the price of a regular washing machine yet wash no better. The manufacturers go to great lengths to ensure their product gets that all important A+++ rating otherwise those energy burning consumers might just go elsewhere.

Yeah I never said I agreed with it. These machines are aimed at people with huge amounts of disposable cash and that is it.
