Got a WMA 35mm kit off ebay. Paid a little more (still less than Connect though) because I wanted genuine and this was so described.
Looks just fine but not done many so not sure as it’s in odd packaging. Box with label which says, “WA-1000”.
Seal has embossed in rubber, “NWB-1068”. Bearings are rubber sealed and NWB again.
Can anyone confirm? Going to use it anyway, as no time to get another but want to know whether to favour the seller with future business.

If it was genuine it would be in a white box with a Hotpoint/Indesit label on it and correct part number with bar code.

Can’t confirm those numbers as the only kit I have ATM is a Qualtex pattern one, I did order a gen one but was sent this one instead. :rolls:

Pretty much as I thought. It’ll do the job I’m sure but I won’t be recommending the seller, unless it turns out the same markings are to be found on genuine kit. We all know how important a good seal is. Last genuine kit I had was in a plastic bag rather than a box though.

Yeah, they come in plastic bags these days. Jim most likely uses the pattern ones which are every bit the same but a few quid cheaper for sure. Qualtex (BKT81) come out @ £9.60 (incl. Vodka & Tonic) and identical to the genuine in every way!:D

Cheapest of Fleabay by the way is £11.40

The Qualtex BKT81 I have in my hand does not have rubber sealed bearings which the genuine one does. The kit that Mike has would appear to be superior to the BKT81 I have.

I normally only use the gen ones, these were sent to me without asking after I ordered genuine.

Bag or box it should still have a proper Hotpoint/Indesit label on it.

Turned out to be a 30mm machine. First one I’ve come across. So I’ve had to order a different kit. Still curious about which makes and markings are on genuine bearings.
But hey! Look the site has suddenly gone super fast!
