    Hi all,

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
    I’ve got a Hoover Nextra Wash’n Dry 7.5+5 machine bought in October 2004 s/n 3100063804361409.
Last Saturday, all of a sudden it stopped working. It goes like this: Soap in dispenser; Dial settings set to plain wash 40 degrees (or any settings for that matter); machine goes through the motions of “understanding settings” (i.e. some small gear noises); no door lock light; Press button to start process; door lock light start flashing; no door lock noise; then nothing else happens. I though initially that it was the compressor because no water goes into the machine but now I think it could be the door lock sensor. The door lock catch is OK, no broken bits but I sense there is something not right when system does not lock the door.
The machine cost me £400 in 2004. I don’t know how much it could cost to repair or even if it is worth repairing.
    Any help appreciated, thanks.

I think it is not going to be an expensive fix to be honest, not sure what the problem is either but worth getting checked out nonetheless. So, best course of action is to click HERE and get your nearest local independent engineer to check it out for you.:D
