Is white goods insurance worth it? And any insurers recommended?

Is buying separate insurance for white goods (after their original manufacturer’s warranty has expired) worth it?

Are there any particular companies that are recommended? I have seen Domestic &Genral and CoverDomesticAppliances that offer some good deals. Are they any good?

I took out a policy with a company called Zest Plan (zestplan.com). Seems pretty decent. They stress no loopholes or excesses and the prices are definitely comparable to other policies i’ve taken out in the past.
