    Hi Guys,

I couldn’t find any post detailing this observation so I thought I would mention it.
Been to a 1606W where the customer is complaining of noise and vibration. She isn’t able to put anything on top of the machine when in use as it vibrates off.
When I saw this machine I could see her point as there was a knocking sound and the outer cabinet was vibrating like a drum.
Checked shocks, springs and supports with all ok. Discovered the belt had stretched and was out of shape but not frayed at all
New belt cured the problem. Fascinating all that vibration caused by the belt. More so than I have ever seen before.

I did wonder about the pulley. It seemed ok when I looked.
I am off to look at the dishwasher next week so i’ll see how the machine is doing and what the customer has noticed. It’s just beyond my distance limit with a 70 mile round trip but they moved into the area with the ISE which makes me happy to include it! 🙂
