    Hiya,

    Two common causes….

A 5p stuck in the drain hose, normally at the end.

Overdosing and sending it into suds lock. Excess suds get stuck in the pressure switch hose and hold the sensor open until the clear, after they dissipate the machine works as normal.

Both will explain well in excess of 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of all F3 errors.

Hi thanks for your reply. Been back again today as she said it is doing the same ive checked everything took the drain hose off and the sump hose off stripped the pump and all is clear. She is using hardly any powder but she says it will be okay for a couple of washes then bring up f3 again. I filled and drained the machine 30 times today and it was perfect every time . I dont know what else i can do .paul

Not a lot TBH Paul. 😕

The only other thing I can think of that might be causing it is the eco ball sticking if she’s not done a maintenance wash, beyond that there’s really no other explanation I can think of.

    Hows waste hose connected?

    stand pipe or spigot undersink?

    Could be blocked restricted plumbing?

Can you temporarily alter waste to eliminate?

Boil it. Empty. Several times… I’ll bet the customer doesn’t.

    Re: ise 10

I had this fault on an ISE10. It WAS overfoaming that was causing it. It was particularly bad on the white cotton wash when they washed the bath sheets.

It came to a head when the customer started using waitrose essential tablets. This caused a foam party in the machine. 😯

The machine, I found out eventually, is using softened water which just added to the fault. (softner downstairs, machine upstairs.)

They now use half a tablet crumbled in the drawer.

I say crumbled as the ISE10 dosen’t have a trap at the back of the drawer so the tablet, occasionally, wasn’t dissolving in time and blocking the hole to the dispenser hose. You can imagine the customer wasn’t best pleased particularly as the machine is upstairs. 😥

To convince the customer it was an overfoaming fault I sat through two quick washes with washing in and 1/2 a tablet. I then left it for them to try.

On another ISE10 I removed the ball in the sump due to the sump becoming distorted and the ball sticking. That may be worth a thought.?

Thanks all for your replys i think removing the ball in the sump may be the way to go as when it was emptying it was pulsing a bit ,worth a try anyway.thanks
