Hi,
I have one of these dryers installed in basement untility room the water outlet via a tube into a small tank with a float swith to operate a pump to pump the water from the tank to the outside of the building.
Customer complaining that the dryer was very noisey and leaking !
When I arrived there was water evident under the machine and when I switched it on it was very noisey. I stripped the front fan chamber out and found the front fan completely blocked with fluff which was preventing the air flow, I cleaned the fan and chamber out reassembled and tested it, the machine now sounded sweet as a nut. My diagnosis was then that the fan and chamber becoming blocked had caused the loss of airflow and that the appliance had malfunctioned as a result.
That was over two weeks ago, now get a call from customer saying that dryer is noisey and leaking on the floor again. Anyone have any ideas where the water may be coming from and if the fan is blocked again would this cause the dryer to leak ???
This was the very first ISE CD60 dryer I had seen let alone worked on so have I missed something here or has anyone had more expereience with these and some of the issues that may or can arise.
Thanks !
