ISE 10 F1 and more….

ISE 10 stopped with F1 and one segment lit – had this code before – door lock problem. To release the stuck washing, I guided the customer to use the emergency door lock release pull. She releases the door, some water pours out and the emergency release comes out in her hand. 🙁 Fortunately, it’s in a laundry room………
I’m thinking that the pump or filter is blocked and the door didn’t release due to the remaining water in the machine and maybe this and the door release issues are related to both the known F1 faults.
I’ve read the manuals and the removal of the front panel to see the door interlock is not clear on the positions of the clips. Anyone had one apart and can explain a little further? This call is being shoe – horned into a full day, so I need to be quick to sort this.
Any pointers would help!

cannot remember the actual postion of the clips but it is obvious, once the outer front panel is removed. Think longer versions of the old Hotpoint 95 front plate clips and you will get the idea. My bet its just a blocked pump so other than sorting out the emergency pull, you wont need to go there.

Lower panel off. Lid and facia off. Four screws revealed to allow the front outer panel to hinge down. Four spring clips to release front inner panel and reveal the lock.

All sorted – the strip down reminded me of the good old days with the Bosch V series and AEG stuff of 20 years ago. Heavy steel, undo a million screws and the parts still hold on by a mystery force…….. 😀 Ahhh…….. 8)
Like everything, once you’ve found your way around a machine, the rest is straightforward. Just a 5p in the pump – one embarrassed customer – one relieved Steve!
