ISE 10 no drum action

visited this machine today, bought 05-03-09 fills and drains but no drum action. After about 2 min on any programme, machine drains out then the display pcb goes blank.

Have removed base module and checked connections etc, motor seems to meter out ok.

I am going to order the base module?, anyone else seen this fault? or any other ideas?

I’m sure that we had this on another one somewhere, for some reason it rings a bell.

Have you done the diagnostic tests?

Reset the top PCB?

Thanks for replying, I have ordered the motor control board.

No I have not done the test procedure or the reset. I have downloaded the service manual and I cannot see them in there, where do I find them.

It’s on the tech info, the smaller one and you can get it HERE embedded in this post.

Whenever you get any sort of weirdness that’s the first things to do as it will tell you an awful lot about what’s going on. TBH, I’d do that before changing any component.

I know running test sequences are a PITA at times but they are there to help you diagnose the problems and see what the issue really is.

will print that manual out. Will try reseting and running the test programme before fitting the pcb.

I would be supprised if the reset alone fixed it but will let you know.

for any one who may have this fault, fitted the base module and she now spins.
