Wife has phone telling me that the washer was stuck on 39 mins during a cycle with the washer constantly filling up and then emptying and then filling up again and emptying ???

    Ideas ??

I have advised her to stop the cycle and sleect drain on the option to empty all water out for the time being.

I haven’t yet moved the drain hose out from the under sink spigot to a separate downpipe but the missus says its seems to drain ok but then it starts a filling cycle again ???

    Help please… ??!

    Hi

Deleted the duplicate thread, best to keep to one as it causes less confusion.

If anyone can help shady, I believe he has the ISE10.

    Hi Shady,

TBH the only way a washing machine will do that, normally, is where it starts to syphon into the plumbing. Invariably this is because the waste is too low.

What happens is that the machine reaches level but the level reached is greater than the height of the drain so the water (because of gravity) starts to flow out the drain.

Outside of that I can’t think why the machine would do this.

Can you run it through a rinse cycle and see if that works okay?

    Hi K

I advised my wife to drain the system and when I rang her a minute ago she had then set it rinse and spin to see if it worked.

It appears that the ISE10 rinsed ok and then went onto a spin cycle ok…BUT the spin cycle was VERY noisy according to my wife.

The VERY noisy spin cycle has happened once before when the machine display went blank half way through a wash cycle – Conditioner was still in the tray.

I will be moving the drain hose to a separate standpipe section of drain this weekend.

    Hi Shady,

Can you please keep it to one thread please otherwise, anyone that’s tried or trying to help will not receive topic reply notifications and may not see your other posts.

If noisy please check that there’s nothing in the pump, it’s the No.1 cause of noise by a country mile. Any errant is also I would think unrelated unless there’s something stuck in the machine. I can’t think how the two would correlate to one issue in any other way.

I moved the drain hose to a separate standpipe section last night and blanked of the spigot under the sink.

The machine appears to be working fine now – must have been the hose layout under the sink causing a gravity drain due to height levels etc.

    But all sorted now !!

Thanks for all the info and help K.
