After an Indesit W/D that suffered a siezed motor-bearing, No.1 son went and bought a cheap, nasty Haier against all advice.

nearly 2 years of fairly trouble-free use ended with the pump-motor expiring. the decision was made to buy an ISE 1607 and he’s totally over the moon with it! 😀

Quiet, smooth, quick, a huge drum compared with the previous junk (despite the declared wash-capacity being fairly close) the extra-thorough rinse ,superb for an Eczema -sufferer…….did i mention the almost silent spin?- plenty if motor-power as well, a heavy load doesn’t seem to slow it at all and the clothes are ready to go straight into the dryer.

cosmetically, the ice-blue illuminated control-panel is really swish, the door-handle a bit cheap and nasty ,silver-painted plasticky, but it’s surplus to requirements anyway, as the door pops ajar automatically at the cycle-end.

All in all, a very sound investment, the alternative choice was a Miele, but their closed-shop policy on technical-info and extortionate parts-pricing ruled them out, no matter how prestigious the brand-name.
