ParticipantAny news on the ISE 2 or it’s replacement? Is there anything on the horizon? 😕
I know there is an issue of the cost of it and I agree that further £20 / £30 price rises may push the machine out of its intended market position. I sell for £279 including delivery and fitting ATM which is fine for me. The machine and the service given means they sell themselves. 😉
I have had 2 enquiries this last week for ISE 2, so any info would be appreciated!!Thanks,
Steve.

There is something in the works now. More details once the deal is done. 😉
But and, this is the big but, there’s no way that we’d be able to look at a price point under £300 in the current climate for several reasons. The most important one was the pound’s value dropping through the floor pushing up prices horrifically and, I do mean, horrifically.
On top of that there’s the usual factory price increases in January.
So we weren’t looking down the barrel of £20/30, we were looking down the barrel of a 20-30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} increase which, in all honesty, we didn’t and don’t think that the Vestel made ISE2 is worth. Our thoughts were that if we didn’t think they were worth that how could we ask you guys to tell customers that they were?
Having a little modicum of morality and respect for your customers is sometimes a hindrance to running a business. 😉
So we hatched a plan.
I hope to be revealing a lot more in the next couple of weeks but both Sean and I have played with a sample machine and, they’re good, bl00dy good. Not only that they’re superb to work on if you need to.
What it will get you is also, probably, a bit more margin as well as a better build, better plastics, better ergonomics and more features. Yes, it’ll cost more but it’s a whole lot better than a £40-£60 hike on the current ISE2.
Please bear with us on it, it will be worth it.

Is there any chance of the sample making it to the UKW meeting?

There is a chance, yes.
Although I think that the sample of the actual machine will be going on tour this month with John. At least, I hope it will be.
