I have done a couple of ISE2’s, both right into the sink waste, never even noticed if there was a hook former. 😳

Na, it’s the kids.

If there’s a bug doing the rounds they’re bound to bring the damn thing home. But that aside as usually that doesn’t really stop me, I had a bit of a long day yesterday and I’m actually surprised I’m still awake.

Having said that, if I go to bed too early I just wake up at 5am on a mission and flag come 3pm or so. Some days I wish I was a total insomniac as then I could just get stuff done quicker without having to pander to stupid sleep cycles. Nature is so inconsiderate at times.

Back on topic, I can confirm that there is no hook former with the ISE2. Installed one today that emptied into a normal standpipe, fortunately I have several that I have saved from ISE5 installs. 🙂

I guess your talking about what I call the ‘anti-syphon device’?

I love saying to the customer…

“I’ll just go and get you an anti-syphon device.”

And then seeing the dissapointment when I come back with just a plastic hook 😆

And no, ISE 2 doesn’t have one!
