ISE 5/2 motor.

I’ve got a 5/2 with an F08 fault which could be motor failure. Is it available still and how much?

I think we still have one or two but I’d need to check Steve and from memory they were about the £60 the last time we sold one.

Also a good chance that it is the inverter pcb that is at fault. 🙁

I think I have had one motor to five boards causing F08.

Also a pig to change, I do it without removing the drum as per the manual>
I lie it flat on it’s face with some cushioning on the floor and it is just possible to change it from underneath.

Went and tightened the loom connections and the machine spun up to high revs. Had an unsettling screaming from the motor when on high speed….. 😕
I’ve changed a couple of motors on these and they were difficult – but both done with the machine leant over sideways onto a plastic racking box.
Hoping it’s not PCB……………. 😥

Tried sideways, have a go face down, I promise you it’s easier. 😉
