ISE 5 TYPE CI 555WH CONTROL PANEL LOCKING OUT

FAULT DESCRIPTION
Picked up a very useful snippet yesterday for those of you who find original ISE 5 machines where the panel appears to be locked out and you cannot get it to reset or cancel the program.

1st check that the ‘Child Lock’ has not been engaged, if the problem persists, then fill the machine with a jug if necessary, to at least its 1st fill level (approx 2 inches above the beater or paddle) and then set the machine to drain and allow it to complete this two minute cycle and you should find that the machine has reset itself.

Apparently if the fill or drain function is interrupted once initiated it can sometimes ‘LOCK OUT’ and this is the official remedy.

I know this is not in the manual but I only just found out about it late yesterday.
