ISE 5 – where’s it gone

The ISE 5 seems to have been discontinued. Why?
I would like an ISE but the ISE 10 is too big, it’s too deep to fit in. 🙁

Hi Xileno,

Since the world was turned upside down we had to make changes. Basically the value of the Pound fell through the floor against the Euro which pushed up the production costs too much plus, we didn’t like some of the changes that the factory were making.

So, we changed the spec and replaced the machine with the AW23 which you can buy, from the links here with a five year warranty or, if you want, with a two year warranty

The only thing that the AW23 loses out on, in the real world, is that it has a 1400rpm sin as opposed to a 1600rpm spin.

ah that’s good news. The AW23 looks good, at only 505mm deep it will be perfect.
I assume the motor is brushless?
