I know this is an ISE but just wondered if anyone had come across this fault on any other Amica based machines.

Customer insists the display is showing E35. Apparently it appears to complete the cycle but ends with E35? She says she has to do a reset before she can use it again.

E35 does not appear to be a recognised error code for AW23/Amica machines but E30 codes are heater related.

I checked the heater and all wiring and it was perfect.

Set it to a 40 degree wash and had it plugged into my little meter to check the heater operation. The heater came on at the prescribed time and heated perfectly, the machine then continued the cycle to the end without any problems and no sign of E35.

Are there any codes we don’t know about or has anyone else encountered this?

    Jim.

Not errant ones Jim, always been a heater – thermistor – wiring thing to my knowledge.

Why is E35 not listed anywhere though?

She is going to try it again and take a picture of E35 if it comes up again, will try an ntc if it happens again.

No clue TBH, only ever see it once in a blue moon.

Was E35 the code that comes up if you select a program too quickly?

No Nige, that was E64 IIRC.

If my memory is correct I am certain I got a recall on this, fitted a new NTC and fault was cleared.
