Ise AW23 Spinning uncontrollably only,will not stop itself

In view of the description of faulty operation, may you agree with going ahead with this decision? The engineer came to investigate a major fault on our washing machine and made various tests on the internal wiring by connecting to his hand held meter. At the end, on close examination of the ‘motherboard’ he was able to show the internal side with what appeared to be burned or melted streaks of solder in one area of the control board. He said if he was able to get the replacement for this model then the machine should operate but is not familiar with ISE machines. We are looking to purchase w/m control module SKU: ISE8040139 on UK Whitegoods.

Symptoms to the disintegration of function? We had been completely ignorant that a machine should not be used on immediate consecutive cycles. Every so often we do do washes with as little as 20 min interval. On one day a few days ago, we did carry out multiple washing cycles with a break of 2 hours between 2 cycles each way (4 total) and there had been interruptions in the cycle (over 2-year period) usually from 9-11 mins before the cycle ending, then on our switching back on the tripped circuit board, the cycle would invariably resume to finish without multiple trippings.

The major problem occurred on the following day: we put in very absorbent fleecy items and the machine was halted by the tripping of circuit board several times. We tried adjusting the load by adding a towel. The circuit board continued to trip and the cycle would not resume prior to cycle for drain and spin, making small chug noises with the drum unable to move.

Following giving it a few gentle shakes, the drum suddenly clicked into an extremely fast spin that then went out of control. Subsequent re-setting of start button (switching on and off) and turning control dial would immediately activate a frighteningly fast spin (shaking machine off floor) continuously unless manually turned off. The machine now only spins at a mad rate and will not respond to any change of cycle.

whilst it does sound like the board has failed it also points to something else blowing the board and your repeated tries to use the machine when it was faulty may have made it beyond economical repair.
