ISE C I 555 WH washing machine won’t fill with water.

I have a problem with an ISE C I 555 WH washing machine.

Although it makes the right noise it isn’t filling with water. However, the second flow of water (that washes the powder out of the drawer) happens correctly.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Possible inlet valve fault. Contact your local agent or ISE HQ on 0845 226 1268 you will either have a full five year parts & labour warranty or at least a five year parts warranty depending on which you chose when you purchased the machine.

It should only fill for a short while through the rinse valve before switching to the wash valve to flush the soap in.

Does it fill on the rinse cycle, is the inside, top of the detergent chamber all black and gunged up ?

Thanks for the post iadom, but I owe the good people of ISE an apology.

I read the instruction manual (I’d thought that I’d lost it before) and cleaned out the inlet filter as suggested. As three-quarters of the holes were filled with limescale the problem is now solved.

Ah, don’t see limescale problems up here, lovely soft water. 8)

Do get horrible black slime inside soap drawers though.
