ParticipantHello,
Some advice/guidance needed.
We have an ISE CD60W dryer which is now approaching 8 years old (sits on top of ISE 1606W washer, same age and continues to work perfectly).
We have started getting an F1 error code which led me to check the water container. This was bone dry and empty.
However, when I removed the condenser water ran out. At the back, behind where the condenser would sit was full of water. Being technical (not) I removed this water with a sponge and then the machine worked again.
I am having to do this with each usage.
Any suggestions as to what the problem might be would be much appreciated.

Most likely just blocked up with fluff internally.
Not difficult as such but does involve a bit of stripping down to put right.

Ok – thank you – so it will require an engineer (I would not have a clue where to start) ?
Would it require a specialist given it is ISE or anyone I can find locally ?

Most should be able to do that, the information required is available to all.

Same problem (water not being pumped) and now also the drive belt seems to have snapped (or come adrift).
Does anyone know who may be able to service/repair an ISE machine in the Hertfordshire area ?
Having had the machine (and linked washer) for nearly 10 years with considerable use I cannot decide whether now is the time to scrap the ISE dryer (for say a heavy load Bosch) or spend money to have it repaired as I guess there must come a time when spare parts will no longer be available.

I think Mark at Anglia Electrics covers most of Hertfordshire and he’s really good, details are here…

And another good one that covers that area also is FFR Services…
It sounds like a blockage and a belt you need, shame to scrap it just for a bit of cleaning and a belt.
