ParticipantFollowing on from my ‘what dishwasher?’ question, I thought I’d post up a quick ‘review’.
(Mods, please move or delete this article if it’s in the wrong place or inappropriate).
This is our first dishwasher (and hopefully last?) so we have no point of reference compared to other machines or experiences.
I phoned through our order and got a prompt delivery slot text from the delivery firm. This was set for between 7 & 9AM a week later and the delivery driver followed this up with a confirmation call the night before.
They arrived at 7:30 and the machine was in place within 10 mins. They couldn’t fully complete installation because of an issue with our sink waste layout and left with the paperwork duly noted.
The fill pipe isn’t overly flexible so having done a bit of cabinet butchery and waste trap fettling, we set about RTFMing before first use. The instruction manual is pretty clear but setting up the various parameters took a couple of attempts to get to grips with the key sequences.
I was slightly surprised about the filling noise and general swooshing about but as I said we have no point of reference on such things. The fit of the exterior side panels also aren’t quite what I expected and I’d say our Miele machines look a bit more ‘finished’.
Loading is a bit of a learning curve for us but the baskets have all sorts of loading options and are pretty robust with nice solid runners.
Currently undecided on the cutlery basket as the top parts are detachable and tend to come loose when pulling cutlery out.
Only done a few Auto washes thus far and they’ve been around three hours long. No problem for us as the machine has been delayed timed to run overnight on Economy 7.
Absolutely no issues with the cleaning of stuff though there has been some small water puddles left here and there. I wonder if we’ll need to adjust the rinse aid settings, only time will tell?
Now for some snaps (please excuse the dirty dishes!).
Top basket knife section guard

Top basket mugs and glasses section with wine glass retainer folded down

The spray arms are definitely steel!

Top basket

Bottom basket rollers

Looking in

Clean and simple top panel

Side panel (which does feel flexy)

It holds stuff!

So one week in we’re happy with the purchase and hope we never have to test ISE’s warranty claims.
p.s this forum is chopping off the right side of the landscape orientated shots.
