I have an ISE D243W which has been fine for a number of years but recently it has stopped washing dishes properly. It fills up but then sits doing very little for a long time, I have tried opening it during the cycle and there is water being heated in the bottom but it never seems to be jetting about. Finally it drains and when opened the dishes have not been cleared and the tablet is not dissolved.
I tried calling a couple of local repair people but they had not heard of the brand and were not willing to come and have a look. I have checked filters etc. I am not sure whether it would be possible to still get spare parts for this any more? Any help/advice gratefully received.

Think I might still have the technical docs but never actually worked on one. I can only think of one that was sold in my area many years ago now.:(

According to the parts list it uses a 5uf capacitor.

in that case provided it a standard cap this should fit

    https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/cap05-dishwasher-and-tumble-dryer-5uf-capacitor

quite a common fault as the cap starts the motor. when it goes faulty the motor hums but cant start

and its cheap enough to buy it to try
