ISE Email down?

Hi. Have been trying to send an email to

admin AT iseappliances.co.uk

but with no joy. May be to do with the ongoing update of the website but thought I’d mention it to you guys.

Is your e-mail being bounced or are you not getting a reply?

I have just sent a test message to admin@iseappliances.co.uk and it has gone through correctly. 😕

From work it is getting bounced back as undeliverable, and our IT said it was because your server did not like our spam host Appriver that we currently use for outgoing as well as incoming mail. IT said “Certain mail servers have tagged Appriver servers as black-list domains. Appriver are looking into it now, so should resolve in a few days.”

But then I tried sending from home from my Ntl account and it would not go through either – but it is just stuck in my Outbox, and I did not get any sort of error message. But it sounds like it is more me than you if yours is working ok.

Logged in to my Vrigin/Ntl account and tried sending from there, bounced back. For your IT bods info, message as below

“Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

admin AT iseappliances.co.uk

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.7.1 Spam rejected (BD#114) (state 18).”

The email has a normal heading and no rude words that I am aware of 🙂

I’m on Virgin Media (ex NTL) admin@iseappliances.co.uk works fine for me. ❓

It might seem a stupid question but I assume you are sending it to admin@ and not admin AT…. 🙂

What happens if you click on the link in this post and send it from that?

I was only typing AT in my post instead of @ to try an stop any spambots. But I have resent from home now and all seems fine.

I saw this earlier. Sorry didn’t see it until late as I’ve been in a meeting all day.

But, there’s no known issues with emails and there has been the usual traffic today.

We do however have all safeties on as such due to the bombardment of spam we get so if the server you send from is even remotely not configured correctly, the server is grey or blacklisted or whatever the geeks say then it’s likely to bounce sadly.

It’s either that or we get hundreds of spams a day. 🙁
