You will need some expensive and specialist software to do it properly. There are some free and cheap converters, but to be honest, I haven’t found one really up to doing the job.
Do you have a scanner or fax machine?
If you have a scanner, the simplest way to do it is print the job sheet, write on what you need to, scan it back in and then email it to ISE.
You know how to do faxes.
A4 flatbed scanners are cheap to obtain and do a reasonably good job. All of my 19 engineers have one and they scan their daily work sheets in and email them to us at head office. We store all of these on our servers and back it all up. Its really easy to retrieve a job sheet from years ago and send it to whomever within a couple of minutes.
I am very lucky to have a top of range HP Scanner, with auto document sheet feeder as we scan and sort all out job sheets and much much more.

KeymasterWe are working on something to allow an editable format.
Whilst the sheets were manually issued it wasn’t a problem but, to automate it, our friends at Redmond want a small fortune which I’m not too keen on giving them.
If you want to transfer the info onto an old sheet that’s absolutely fine, not a problem as all we need is the data back in a way it can be saved.

If you use openoffice then you can download the pdf editor addon… I have it and it works fine.

After the scolding I got from Tracy 😆
You dont want to get on the wrong side of her or the paperwork if not in the same format as it was sent will go to the bottom of the pile 😉Steven

Some of you may already know this, apologies if you do.
I received an ISE job sheet this week and noticed that the pdf was in a different format. I used my old method of, print it out, fill in manually, scan back in then attach.
I then had a play around with it. 🙂
I find that I can now edit the new style job sheet very easily using the SIGN button ( top right ) in Acrobat Reader, then ‘save as’ . 8)

That’s the new iteration of the call handling we use internally which is essentially based on the Rapport core.
It should get even easier in time. 😉
