    I normally charge comparatively low rates for repairs. I was talking to another agent who is charging considerably more which got me thinking about the subject. What is the policy with regards to labour rates?

    Is this for ISE repairs that are outside the 5+5 contract?

    If so then its whatever you are comfortable with and your customers accept.
    You know your own area and market better than anyone else.

    Thanks for the reply Jim, but this is repairs inside the 5×5 paid by ISE.

    The labour rate under 12 months old is £50 excl VAT if you’re VAT registered or the straight £50 if you’re not as you obviously can’t charge VAT.

    Older than 12 months and that rises to £60.

    There are no other rates.
